Ramriddlz... But Whytoby

By now, you've probably heard Sweeterman, to me the hardest song Drake has dropped this summer. The perfect summer song, a nice laid back beat, with Drizzy flowing with his usual mix of singing and rapping.  But incase you didn't know, that's not Drake's song, he only covered it.

The real Sweeterman is Ramy, or better known as Ramriddlz. Ontario is dominating the music scene right now with all the talent it's putting out, and Ramriddlz is no exception. Ramriddlz is a 21 year old Mississauga native. He dropped the original Sweeterman years ago (something I was shocked to find out). The song took off in Canada, and eventually made its way to Drake. Drake called it the song of the summer. That's how I came to find out about him.
Ramriddlz is a very interesting and different artist. Very different vibe his music gives off, maybe that's why he's become one of my most listened to artists lately. He has a psychedelic feel to him, which is portrayed in his music, his voice captures the listener with how weird and distorted it is, very Makonnen-esque. But that's where the Makonnen comparison ends. I really can't compare him to any other artist in the game right now. He's blazing his own musical path, and I feel he's gonna be very big soon.

If we're talking about his music, one word can describe it: unique.
He dropped his first mixtape almost two months ago titled: P2P EP (Pussy 2 Pink). The mixtape's strongest themes are obvious, sex and drugs, and or sex on drugs. Look at the cover, it even reminds you of pussy haha! But he does it well. His music is also entertaining, I've found  myself laughing on multiple occasions to his lyrics.
"Lebanese, Pussy pink like skittles, doubles Ds like Riddlz"
"She's a screamer, she can't handle my wiener "

His lyrics match the feel and flow of the beat. One of his go to producers, Jaegen, is fantastic. He crafts the beat perfectly for Ramriddlz to excel on. I really like what he does also, doesn't hurt the fact he's from my city of Brampton too. I'm expecting big things from him also.

Stand out tracks on his EP are P2P (iii), Sweetersound, and She Say. She Say is my favorite song of the EP. I advise Yall to go check him out as soon as possible, because he will not be underground for long . I'm eagerly awaiting his next project .
